Newton County School System will hold its annual Kindergarten Round-Up during the week of March 15 through March 18. Children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2010 (child must have been born on or before Sept. 1, 2005) to register for the 2010?2011 school year. At the time of registration, parents must provide their child’s social security card, certified birth certificate, immunization record form number 3231 and hearing, vision and dental screening record form number 3300. If needed, hearing and vision screening testing will be available at the schools at the time of registration.

• Category 1: Utility bill with name and address (only garbage, electric, water, or gas will be accepted).

AND

• Category 2: Current lease, rental agreement, or current mortgage statement.

Should the child not live with one or both parents, guardianship or custody documents will be required.
