Egg-citing history

Students in Elizabeth Davis' eighth grade social studies class at Piedmont Academy recently made dioramas depicting famous Americans from hollowed-out eggs. The students decorated a shoe box to correspond with their character and made the "person" from the eggshell. Dioramas included projects completed by Parker Kelly, General Sherman; Payden Cantera, Crazy Horse; Joseph Hardin, Adolf Hitler; Zach Beggs, Martin Luther King, Jr.; Hunter Knox, General Custer; Gaven Edge, Blackbeard; Luke Andrews, Jose' Marti; Jacob Bowers, Andrew Carnegie; Joshua Williams, Jefferson Davis; and Summer Jarrard, Ella Bird.
