Bullying prevention workshop offered

The Newton County School System will be offering a workshop on Jan. 20 on bullying prevention for parents. The workshop will help parents recognize the signs of bullying and will be presented by a school system counselor. This workshop is designed for parents of children attending Title I schools.

Those interested in attending should contact Debbie Carlisle at (770) 784-2935 ext 3345 by Thursday to RSVP. The workshop will be from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 at the Parent Resource Center at Clements Middle School.
