COVINGTON, Ga. – The fourth juvenile charged in the May 5 armed robbery at Newton High School was granted bond during a hearing in Newton County Superior Court Tuesday morning.

The teen is charged with armed robbery, violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act and carrying weapons within certain school areas. He is the third of four juveniles charged in the incident to be granted bond.  Two were granted bond earlier this month.  The other remains in custody.

They are accused of robbing a student at gunpoint in a school restroom. Their names are being withheld because of their ages.
