COVINGTON, Ga. – Police in Covington are looking for whoever stole a .22 cal. rifle and high-capacity magazine out of a car.

According to a Covington Police Department incident report, the victim went to CPD headquarters May 3 to report the theft. She reportedly told police a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a 110-round magazine had been taken from the backseat of her 2002 Honda accord sometime between April 27-April 30.

The weapon was valued at $305.
