OXFORD, Ga. – A 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier was reportedly attacked and killed by two Pit Bulls at a house in Oxford Sunday morning.
According to a Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) incident report, a Keel Street resident told the responding deputy that on May 21 the two dogs, one black and one a brindle color, attacked the pet while it was in the carport. The owner told the deputy she took her dog to the Emergency Animal Clinic on Highway 278, but they were unable to save the dog.
The complainant told the deputy she does not know who the two Pit Bulls belong to.
