NHS students charged after jumping on patrol car

COVINGTON, Ga. - Two Newton High School students were charged with disorderly conduct after videos surfaced on social media of them standing and jumping on a Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) School Resource Officer (SRO) patrol car, according to a NCSO press release.

The incident, which happened Thursday, May 11, was reportedly witnessed by school officials. Onlookers shared photographs and videos on social media and the officials and NCSO worked with the SROs to identify the students.
