COVINGTON, Ga. – The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a fraud suspect.

According to a NCSO press release, the suspect entered Kroger stores on Highway 278 and Salem Road along with a Dollar General on Highway 11 Oct. 5.

The sheriff’s office has issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for the suspect and posted video from one of the establishments on the Newton County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. 

If you believe you know who the suspect is after viewing the video, NCSO is asking you to call their tip line at 678-625-1585 and remain anonymous. You can also call Crime Stoppers and be eligible for a reward.
