NCSO investigates burglary in Oxford

Investigators from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) are looking into a business break-in in Oxford.

On Jan 22, NCSO Deputy Jayme Bauer responded to a burglar alarm at Darell Young Plumbing on Oxford Way Court in Oxford.

According to the NCSO report, when Deputy Bauer arrived at the business he found the front door shattered. No one was located at the scene.

The owner was contacted and entry was made into the building. The only item reportedly taken was a General Wire Gen-Eye-SD valued at $9,000.

According to NCSO, the business has security cameras and the video is being downloaded.
