PORTERDALE, Ga. — A girl who spent more than a week missing in the fall is now gone again.
Porterdale police confirmed Monday they are looking for 15-year-old Christa Ragan Mobley. The teenager’s mother, Niki Bullard, first reported Christa missing Friday.
“She’s not in any danger that we’re aware of,” police Cpl. Charles Cook said. “We’re actively looking.”
Cook on Monday said Christa had been seen in Monroe.
“We’re looking into it from there,” he said.
Family members previously reported Christa missing on Nov. 20. Bullard told The News she thought Christa was pregnant and that might have been why she ran.
She returned home Dec. 3 without incident after calling a relative to pick her up in Conyers, and police at the time said she did not reveal the reason she left in the first place.
Cook said anyone with information may call Porterdale police at 770-786-2226, or simply call 911 “so we can get the local law enforcement to make sure she’s OK, and turn her back over to mama.”
