Landscaping trucks stolen from Covington business
Great Estates

COVINGTON, Ga. – Investigators with the Covington Police Department are seeking leads and suspects in an early Thursday morning equipment heist from a local landscaping company.

According to a press release from CPD Public Information Officer Justin Stott, thieves broke into the Great Estates Landscaping on Lochridge Boulevard at approximately 3 a.m. July 12 and made off with four fully loaded box trucks.

The trucks contained blowers, weed-eaters and zero turn lawn mowers. The value of the stolen property is reported to be in excess of $150,000.

According to the release, it is unclear exactly entry was made into the property. The fence was found cut on the west side of the business. All four trucks were seen on surveillance video leaving the area heading toward Interstate 20.

Two of the stolen trucks are marked with “Holder Landscape Management” on the side and two are marked “Great Estates Landscaping."
