COVINGTON, Ga. – The Covington Police Department (CPD) arrested a juvenile Monday afternoon in connection to a theft from an auto.

According to a CPD incident report, a detective was flagged down in reference to an entering auto at the Newton County Theme School. According to the report, the detective located and arrested the juvenile offender. The property from the vehicle, a Garmin GPS, was returned to the owner.

The report did not indicate if the juvenile arrested was a student at the school.
