COVINGTON, Ga. - Investigators with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) are looking for the person who robbed an Atlanta man April 27.

According to the NCSO incident report, the victim was robbed of his iPhone 6 by an unknown assailant armed with a handgun shortly after midnight last Thursday while at the Wellington Ridge Apartments on Wellington Ridge Drive. He reported the crime to a bailiff at the Newton County Courthouse later that morning.

According to a NCSO spokesperson, the victim was not injured.
