COVINGTON, Ga. - A Conyers man was arrested for indecent exposure after allegedly committing a lewd act in a car parked at a Newton County grocery store.

According to a Newton County Sheriff’s Office incident report, Michael Dean Evans, 34, was taken into custody Tuesday evening after deputies responded to a report of indecent exposure at the Kroger at 5341 Highway 20.

The complainant at the location told the deputy she witnessed Evans in the vehicle next to hers performing the act. According to the report, after an investigation Evans was arrested.

He was transported to the Newton County Jail charged with public indecency/indecent exposure.
