Car, house hit by bullets Saturday night

COVINGTON, Ga. – Investigators with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office are looking for whoever is responsible for shooting a house and car Saturday night.

According to a NCSO incident report, deputies responded to an address on Emily Court just after 9:15 p.m. Nov. 3 on a report that a car had been shot at. 

A sheriff’s office spokesperson said when they arrived deputies found that one of the vehicle’s windows had been shot out. 

Deputies also found projectiles that pierced the home of one of the neighbors.

There were no injuries reported in the incident and the investigation continues.
