UPDATE (Wednesday, May 1, 11:40 a.m.): Newton County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Cortney Morrison identified Stinson John Lindsay as the male who was killed while working on a power pole on Dixie Road Monday. 

The 37-year-old had a Stone Mountain address. 

Cause and manner of death have been determined as multiple blunt force trauma from the fall. No electrocution was noted after an autopsy was performed.

COVINGTON, Ga. - Medics and Newton County Sheriff's Office deputies are on scene after reports of a male being electrocuted while working on a power pole at 1520 Dixie Road, in Covington. 

According to an immediate statement from NCSO Sgt. Cortney Morrison around 10 a.m. Monday morning, the male is unconscious and not breathing.
