Covington showed off its credentials to movie executives at The Next Cool Event in Atlanta, which was designed to show off the state's film friendly communities and interior and event design companies. "As one of the first "Camera Ready" communities in Georgia, Covington/Newton County is considered as a must-see for location scouts and our presence ensured the area as a standout location," said Clara Deemer, tourism director of the Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce. "With both City of Covington and Newton County elected officials attending, this was an excellent opportunity to
