Placeholder Image

Halfway between Covington City Hall and Highway 278, Aqua Terra Recycling and Treatment of Oxford is clearing drains that prevent Dried Indian Creek from flooding.

The City of Covington approved a contract for $215,884 at the City Council meeting July 18. Silt, vegetation and trash have plugged up the drains.

The work will improve drainage on Dried Indian Creek on Pace Street south of Emory.
