Wearing smiles brighter than their crowns, Philip Baker and Sadie Bostick were honred by Take Off Pounds Sensibly as the 2010 King and Queen of Georgia.

The recognition is given to the man and woman who achieve the greatest weight loss and reach their doctor-recommended healthy goal weight. Approximately 1,730 TOPS members in Georgia competed.
To earn the title of 2010 Queen, Bostick, of Covington, achieved her weight-loss goal by losing an amazing total of 88 pounds.

"I healed the past, lived the present and dreamed of the future," Bostick said.

She lost the weight a few pounds at a time, "never believing those few pounds were adding up," but in December 2010 she reached her goal.

Baker and Bostick were crowned April 2 in Albany at the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center. They are invited to represent Georgia among other royalty from the United States and Canada at the TOPS Club's annual International Recognition Days in July in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Georgia represented 10,721 pounds lost from the organization's total weight loss of 871,266 pounds (436 tons).
