An unknown company blitzed Covington this week with signs urging residents to "Google: Skydiving in Georgia." City officials are removing the signs because city code forbids the posting of signs on utility poles or city right of way, Utility Director Bill Meecham said Friday.

Following the advice of the signs doesn't reveal any local skydiving businesses, but there are several operations in Atlanta.
