As the holiday season approaches, we are all thinking of Christmas trees, lights, presents, families and festivities. Covington First United Methodist Church would like to add to your holiday season by taking you to Bethlehem where our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, was born.

In on ongoing effort to serve with and for the community performances of Covington FUMC’s Live Nativity will coincide with the Downtown Candlelight shopping on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Dec. 10 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Other performances will be on Dec. 4-5 during the Oxford Singing Children/Youth Singers performances that will be held at Covington FUMC, as well as Candlelight Christmas Eve services at FUMC at 5 p.m and 9 p.m on Dec. 24.

The church family of Covington FUMC invites you to come to the Live Nativity and enjoy the Christmas carols. The presentation will be on the front lawn on the corner of Conyers and Church Street.

From our family to yours we wish you a blessed and happy Advent Season.
