Drivers should avoid the intersection of U.S. Highway 278 and Turner Lake Road for the next 20 to 30 minutes (until about 4:30 p.m.) as an accident is blocking traffic.

Covington Capt. Ken Malcom said there were minor injuries at the scene because of airbag deployment. Ambulances were dispatched.
