MANSFIELD, Ga. - The Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2019 Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner Thursday night at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center.

High Priority Plumbing and Services was awarded the 2018 Dick James Small Business of the Year and Nisshinbo Automotive Manufacturing received the award for the 2018 Deal of the Year. Walden Restaurant received the 2018 Emerging Business award.

The 2018 Spirit of Excellence award went to Lasting Impressions’ Gary Steele and Denny M. Dobbs was presented with the 2018 R.O. Arnold Award.

Outgoing Board of Directors Chairman Thomas Kephart of United Bank passed the ceremonial gavel to incoming Chairman Corey Consuegra of Arcus Hunting.
