COVINGTON, Ga. - Have you ever heard the phrase, “There’s an app for that!” Now, there’s an app for Downtown Covington. Main Street Covington has created a new mobile app that will help residents and visitors find out what’s going on in Downtown Covington.

“With the help of some merchants and members of the Main Street Advisory Board, the app was developed over the course of about four months,”  Lauren Singleton, Main Street director, said. “The worst part of the process was waiting two more months for Apple to review and approve the app.”

The new mobile app is now available for Apple and Android devices, and it is free to download. The app includes information about all of the business in downtown as well as parking information, special coupons, calendar of events, history and much more.

Main Street Covington is a locally funded nonprofit volunteer organization comprised of residents, professionals, and property and business owners. Main Street Covington is committed to doing its part to create an atmosphere in Covington’s downtown/Central Business District that encourages a thriving economy.
