Mr. Willie George Tigner III died July 16. The son of the Rev. and Mrs. Willie (Dollie) Tigner Jr., He was born in 1971 in Atlanta. He graduated from Newton County High School in 1990. He continued his education at Nightingale Medical Institute, Tucker, where he was employed and was a candidate for a diploma in massage therapy.

Surviving are wife Shonda Cody Tigner; daughter Tamara Tigner; stepchildren Chelsey Cody, Courtney Smith, Jamie Smith; parents the Rev. and Mrs. Willie (Dollie) Tigner Jr.; mother-in-law Ruby Lawson; grandmother and grandfather the Rev. and Mrs. Willie (Ruth) Tigner Sr.; sisters and brothers Trayon Whatley, Alex Whatley, Vincent Whatley, Tareek Whatley, Ketema Tigner, Tressa Tigner; sister-in-law La Angela Kelly; aunts and uncles the Rev and Mrs. Arthor (Barbara) Henderson, Ms. Brenda White, Mr. and Mrs. James (Jackie) Walker, Mr. Gerald Tigner, Mr. Ricky Tigner, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Janice) Arnold, the Rev. Freddie Whatley, Mr. David Whatley, Mr. Robert Whatley, Ms. Angela Whatley, Ms. Delores Whatley, Mr. Roderick Whatley, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman (Geraldine) Treadwell; a host of great-aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. July 23 at New Beginning Full Gospel Ministries with Dr. Harrison Braddy officiating. Interment followed at Southview Cemetery, Atlanta.
