A thief broke into a truck at Frito Lay Inc. and made off with off with approximately $300 worth of cookies, crackers, peanuts and chips, according to a Covington Police Department report. An employee reported leaving the truck next to the building at Frito Lay on Old Atlanta Highway around 6 p.m. on April 7 and heading home. When he returned at the next morning around 5:15 a.m., he discovered the truck had been entered through a broken rear glass door and the snack merchandise was missing.
