Sam Cofer, 88, of Covington, died June 4 at Rockdale health Care. The son of the late Albert and Lila Moss Cover he was born un Butts County. Mr. Cofer was a member of Porterdale Baptist church and worked for Bibb Manufacturing until 1955 when he became a building contractor.
