Mrs. Pinkie Gaither Shy died Sept. 3. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny (Odessa) Gaither, she was born in the Leguinn Community of Covington in 1914. In 1946 she married Mr. Arthur Shy and they reared five children. She joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and served on the Mother and Usher boards while healthy.
