SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. -- For the second straight season, Rabun County quarterback Bailey Fisher led his team to a rout of Social Circle, this time in a 63-7 victory at Redskins Field.

The all-state signal-caller opened the game with a 47-yard touchdown pass on his team’s first possession. But the 6-foot, 180-pound senior was just getting warmed up. By the end of the half, his team was up 56-0.

A running clock the entire second half kept the score from getting worse.

Last fall, Fisher tossed four TD passes in a 65-7 win.

Despite the loss, Social Circle (2-5, 1-2 Region 8-AA) still has a shot at snapping a seven-year postseason drought if it can knock off Region 8-AA foe Banks County next Friday on Senior Night and follow that up with a victory over Putnam County in the regular season finale.

The Redskins continue to struggled on defense, having given up 49 or more points for the third time this season. On offense, they have been held to a touchdown or less four times.
