Rockdale’s American Legion baseball team continued to put up runs in dominant wins as it routed visiting Alpharetta 12-1 Sunday. Newton County players had key roles in the win, including Tripp Loftin on the mound. Cole Hamilton started for Post 77, going four innings striking out two, before Tripp Loftin pitched the next three scoreless frames, also picking up two strikeouts.
