Eastside boys' and girls' golf teams are once again going to state.
The Lady Eagles claimed the Region 4-AAA crown, while Eastside's boys' team finished second. It's the second straight state performance for the Eastside girls' team and fifth straight for the boys.
The Lady Eagles were led by Emily Almand, who shot a team-low 100, followed by Katie Briscoe with 111.
Eastside finished shooting 211 with Savannah Upshaw tallying a 113 and Autumn Whiten 118.
Spalding's Emma Johnston was the girls' low medalist with 99 and Sandy Creek was the other team to qualify for the girls' state tournament with a 224.
Spalding also had the low medalist on the boys' side with Jake Harpe shooting 74.
Spalding took home the Region 8-AAA crown with a total of 316.
Eastside shot 364 led by Brandon Shives with 86.
Quinn Murphy was next for the Eagles with 90, followed by Jordan Liefels with 92, Matt Mitchell with 96, Ryan Dial with 101 and Jack Mitchell with 104.
The state tournament is Monday at Augusta Country Club.
