Critical blood shortages traditionally occur during the summer months and around holidays. Rockdale Medical Center and the American Red Cross is asking for your help providing blood for patients during this critical time of the year.
Donate blood at RMC's Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the East Tower Classrooms as RMC celebrates "Donor Recognition Month." All donors coming to this American Red Cross blood drive will receive a special gift and be entered into a drawing to win one of three cruises. Also, every fifth donor will receive an additional prize.
If you are at least 17-years-old (16-year-olds may give with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health, you may be eligible to donate blood.
