Shots rang out in Olde Town Conyers as the parking shed next to the Renaissance Pointe Tavern was transformed into the scene of a bus station shooting for the Universal Studios movie "Identity Theft," a comedy starring Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, and T.I. The rapper, who plays a bounty hunter sent after identity thief McCarthy and Bateman, was on set Wednesday evening slinging a sizable prop gun while stand-ins were splashed with fake blood. The movie also previously filmed scenes at the Georgia International Horse Park, Costley Mill park, and Big Haynes Creek in May.
