If you drive through Olde Town Conyers or along Main Street on major holidays throughout the year, and the sight of American flags fluttering in the breeze gives you goose bumps, you can thank Rockdale Rotarians and, in particular, Gary Bridgewater.
The Rotary project, which is in its fourth year, is the brain child of Bridgewater who brought the idea with him from an earlier experience in Kentucky.
Currently, 10 businesses in Olde Town are part of the flag project. The cost is only $50 to participate.
