Third suspect in Credit Union robbery arrested (Jan. 4, 2011)
The three suspects arrested for robbing a Georgia's Own Credit Union bank at gunpoint last December are also suspected of carrying out armed robberies in Gwinnett County.
Menshack Jah Nyepah, 21, of Decatur, Jemelle Lloyd Francis, 25, of Lithonia, and Sean Foster were arrested and charged after they allegedly attempted to rob the Credit Union, on Sigman Road, on December 23, 2010, but were foiled by witnesses that followed the getaway car.
Now they are also charged with armed robberies in a Snellville Dollar General on Dec. 1 and a Lawrenceville Dollar General on Dec. 7, according to WSB-TV.
Nyepah and Francis were Ga. Army National Guardsmen attached to unit HHC 560th BFSB out of Fort Gillem.
Nyepah was also out on bond during the time of the alleged robberies for a felony murder charge for the death of a DeKalb County father, Anthony Scott Carter, 41. Carter was fatally shot once in the torso at a stop sign on the corner of Panola Road and Covington Highway on May 22, 2010.
All three are currently in the Rockdale County jail.
