Dear Editor: No, Dennis, you’re not the only one who considers building a turnabout and pedestrian tunnel on Turner Lake insane. (Covington News 09/25/09) It’s just that the rest of us are still in shock after reading about it. We’re going to spend almost a million dollars of our money, and, yes, it’s our money — the government doesn’t have any money — on a project that, as you say, a turn lane and a arrow on a traffic signal would suffice. It truly is insane.
