Octavie Sellers of Covington, died May 22, 2009, at the age of 94. She enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and loved attending her churches, Jersey Holiness Church and Conyers Church of God. Most important to Mrs. Sellers was her love of God, and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim Sellers; daughter, Ruth Sellers; sons, Boyce Ray Sellers, William Francis Sellers; grandchildren, Jonathan Sellers, Neal Glenn, Danny Sellers, Mark Smith; 1 sister; 4 brothers; and parents, Tombs and Quilla Bell Graham Bridges. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sybil and Dan Smith of Carlton, GA, Angie and Wayne Hinton of Covington, Judy and Richard Youghn of Conyers; sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Lila Sellers of Soddy Daisy, TN, John Sellers of Lithonia; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Nell and George Pittard of Comer, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudy and Sue Bridges of Madison, Hugh Dorsey and Rachel Bridges of Kannapolis, NC, Talmadge and Ann Bridges of Danielsville. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sellers will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 11 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., Covington, with Rev. Lynn Head officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, May 25, from 4-8 PM.
