Mrs. Ada Mae Crowell Standard, 89 of Covington passed away Friday December 24, 2010 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, Ga. Mrs. Standard was born in Henry County to the late Charlie and Hayden Love Crowell. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, a member of Gum Creek Golden Group and the AARP. Mrs. Standard was predeceased by her husband Grady Standard and her son Larry Standard. She is survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many extended family members. Funeral services for Mrs. Standard will be held on Monday December 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Rhoda Howell, Rev. Gene Hammonds and Rev. Greg Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 4 PM and from 6 until 8 PM at Wheeler Funeral Home.
