Jackie Spears, 64, of Mansfield passed away August 16, 2016. He was born October 19, 1951, in Atlanta to Jack Harris and Betty McDuffie Spears, who have preceded him death. Jackie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a farmer and loved working on the land. Jackie was also a cowboy and loved everything about cows, horses, rodeos and was a Team Roper. He is survived by his wife, Linda Spears; his children, Brandy and Jacqueline Spears both of Mansfield Rodney Christian of Monticello, Ryan Christian of Griffin and Andrew Sneed of Atlanta. Jackie is also survived by his grandchildren, Jack and Caleb Spears, Bryce, Brianna, Shane, Katie and Nathan Christian and his sisters and brother-in-law’s, Nona and Chris Withers of Atlanta and Gloria and Danny Wilkins of Mansfield along with his nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Carmel Church Cemetery with Pastor David Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016.
