Wayne Clifton “Buddy” Barnes, Jr., age 52, of Loganville, died on May 2. He was born in Warner Robbins on September 26, 1961, to Gloria Motes Barnes and Wayne Clifton Barnes, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother, the late Lance Barnes.

Surviving are: mother and father, Gloria and Wayne “Buddy” Barnes of Oxford; sons and daughters-in-law, Kyle and Amanda Barnes of Covington, Adam and Crystal Barnes of Covington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Rusty Fambrough of Hiawassee, Connie and Barry Carter of Oxford; girlfriend, Donna Wilson of Loganville; Donna’s daughter, Jessica Wilson of Loganville; grandchildren, Gage, Bryce, Gavin, Corey, Camden, and Atalie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Jersey Holiness Church with Rev. Larry Carter and Rev. Randall Allgood officiating.

Interment followed at Jersey Holiness Church Cemetery.
