Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home

Jessie Coe of Covington, passed away August 25, 2016, at the age of 74. He was owner and operator of JC Trucking Company for over 40 years.

Mr. Coe was a member of County Line Baptist Church, and followed through with the believer’s baptism three years ago. He was also a member of the Agape Sunday School Class. Mr. Coe could be found working on antique cars, a hobby he enjoyed doing with his son, Steve. He also loved flower gardening and spent time traveling -- one of his favorite destinations was the mountains.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Irvin and Mary Emma (Clay) Coe; along with seven siblings.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Dave Makely of Loganville; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Donna Coe of Mansfield; granddaughters Amy Robison, Kaitlyn Coe and Janna Coe; sister Lillie Strickland; brothers J.P. Coe, Lovelle Coe and Cecil Coe; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Pamela Taylor.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Coe will be held Sunday, August 28, 2016, 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown officiating with interment to follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to National Parkinson’s Foundation-APDA Georgia Chapter, P.O. Box 49416, Atlanta, Georgia 30359.
