Emma Jean Presley Petty, 81, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Piedmont Newton. She was born in Eatonton to the late Walker and Lillie Mae Strange Presley. Emma was preceded in death by her husband Billy Petty.

She is survived by her son Tony Petty of Covington, and son and daughter-in-law Tim & Paula Petty of Covington; grandchildren Tiffany Wingate, Stephanie Petty, David Petty, Joseph Petty, T.J. Petty and Anna Petty; great-grandchildren Alex Wingate and Rileigh Wingate; sister Judy Bell Lott; brothers Olin Presley and Johnny Presley and nieces Vickie Peppers and Brenda Rosser.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Rev. Jason Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at choa.org.
