Mr. Daniel Russell "Danny" Edmonds, 49, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Danny was born Monday, March 2, 1970, in Marietta, son of the late Nelson Wayne Edmonds and the late Ursula Renshula Edmonds. He was preceded in death by brother, Patrick Edmonds. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and Treasurer. Danny enjoyed fly fishing in Helen. 

He was a former Chamber of Commerce Board Member. Danny served on the Industrial Development Authority and was a member of the Jackson Kiwanis Club.

Danny is survived by his son, Zachary Edmonds; daughter, Emma Kate Edmonds; brothers and sisters-in-law, Victor and Judy Edmonds, Raymond and Kim Edmonds; former wife, Rachael Edmonds; nieces, Victoria Edmonds, Gabby Edmonds, and Gracyn Edmonds.

A memorial service for Mr. Danny Edmonds was held Friday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Reagan officiating. The family received friends at the church from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
