Mr. Anthony A. Hinds died Jan. 19 at Newton Medical Center. He was born in 1941 in St. James, Barbados and had been a resident of Covington for seven years, relocating from New York.

Surviving are wife Mrs. Ellen E. Hinds; children Mr. and Mrs. Moses Chase, Mr. Andrew Chase, Mr. Peter Hinds, Ms. Beverly Hands; two grandchildren; sisters Ms. Loretta Hinds, Ms. Wendy Hinds and Ms. Anne Hinds; nephew Mr. Roy Hinds; other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with interment following at Lawnwood Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at noon Jan. 25 at 605 Creekview Blvd., Covington. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25.
