A Covington woman had her home broken into by two men on Oct. 16.

At about 9:43 a.m., police responded to a call from a home on West Street. The woman claimed that she had been lying on her bed when she heard a noise at her front door. As she went to see who it was, two men entered through the door.

The woman yelled at them, asking why they were in her house, and one of the men, a minor, struck her, causing her to hit her back against the wall.

After this, the minor entered her bedroom and stole her Sony Playstation. Both men then left the home through the backdoor.

The woman gave police descriptions of the two men, and stated that she knew the juvenile by name. Witnesses from another nearby home also gave descriptions of the two males.

The adult offender was located on Carroll Street. He was identified as Brandon Flornoy.

The officers also located the minor on Kendrix Circle. Both Flornoy and the minor were taken into custody, and transported to City of Covington Investigation Division.

Flornoy was charged with robbery and was transported to the Newton County Law Enforcement Center.

The minor was taken to Juvenile Intake, where a complaint was filed against him for robbery.

Police were unable to locate the Playstation.
