CUMMING, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a suburban utility vehicle has plunged off a bridge over a creek that flows into Lake Lanier north of Atlanta.

Forsyth County sheriff's officials said late Friday morning that the crash has led to significant delays on Georgia 400, where the car went over a deep ravine and came to rest at the water's edge.

There was no immediate information on any injuries.

Sheriff's officials said in a statement that the crash occurred on the northbound side of the highway, but there were delays in both directions shortly before noon Friday.
