COLLEGE PARK, Ga. (AP) - Police are searching for the man suspected of opening fire inside a Georgia megachurch, killing one.
The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. Wednesday at World Changers Church International, which is led by the Rev. Creflo Dollar.
Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester says the suspect got away in a vehicle, and was still at large around 11 a.m. Wednesday after the shooting.
Lester said she didn't know how many shots were fired. She said the church holds services on Wednesday mornings, but she did not know whether the service had started or how many people were inside during the gunfire.
She said Dollar was not hurt. It was unclear whether he was even at the church when it happened.
World Changers Church International is one of the nation's largest. It's located in College Park, about 15 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta.
A church spokeswoman could not immediately be reached.
