MACON, Ga. (AP) — Bibb County sheriff's officials say a 17-month-old girl was killed when a television and the dresser it was placed on fell onto her.

Investigators say the girl was playing in a relative's apartment on Saturday afternoon when her father heard a noise and rushed into the room.

The girl was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead. Lt. Randy Gonzales tells the Telegraph of Macon (http://bit.ly/1gxdwSf ) that the girl's death appears to be accidental.
