Skeletal remains found by fishermen on the Yellow River early Aug. 13 have been identified as Porterdale resident Harold E. Womack.

Womack, 40, was last seen in July. His family had not reported him missing and thought he was out of town, according to Coroner Tommy Davis. They were notified of the identification Monday night.

Although the cause of death is undetermined, Davis said foul play is not suspected. He did say that Womack's "personal habits" may have contributed to his death, however there was no way to know that for sure.
