Students will be released early Friday for teacher professional learning activities, and also will be the upcoming week (Sept. 24-28) for fall break.

Elementary school students will be released at 11:15 a.m. Friday. High school students will get out at 12:15 p.m., while middle schoolers are released at 1:15 p.m.

Students will be served lunch prior to dismissal, and all bus riders will be transported to their normal bus stops.

All Newton County Schools will be closed from Monday through Friday next week. The Newton County Board of Education offices will be open Monday through Wednesday of next week, but closed Thursday and Friday.
